Custom Kitchen Design
Whether you need a basic kitchen plan for your builder to get a budget together, you're doing your first home renovation, flipping a house for profit, building your dream home or doing an extensive gut on an old heritage house Carrie can design your space. With over 15 years of kitchen design experience and hundreds of projects under her belt, Carrie has the ability to make sure your space gets planned the right way from the start.
Product Selection and Pricing
With a market that is flooded with options, having an expert like Carrie to help narrow things down is a sure way to make sure you get the aesthetic you want within the budget you have. From here you can move forward in acquiring your own cabinet company, or have Carrie shop for you. Making sure to get proper estimates from several cabinet makers and suppliers so that you can compare, as best as possible, apples to apples. Depending on your needs Carrie can select everything for you from your hardwood or tile floor, back-splash, paint colour and lighting.
On site Management
Sometimes it's the little things that make all the difference and having your designer on site during your cabinetry renovation, and installation is crucial. A keen and experienced eye to over see and meet with your plumbers, electricians, cabinet installers and counter-top templaters will mean things go as smoothly as planned.
Bio
Since 2003 Carrie has been designing the spaces that mean the most to you, your kitchen and bathrooms. After completing her diploma of Interior Design in 2005 she immediately started working with a local cabinet manufacturer designing cabinetry for locals on the Saanich Peninsula. In 2010 she started designing kitchens for Urbana Kitchens where she flourished as one of the busiest and most sought after designers within the company. Her referral base kept her busy getting to know and designing kitchens for wonderful homeowners, interior designers and builders alike. Starting in 2020 Carrie realized there was more she could do for her clients as an independant kitchen designer and so Collab Kitchen Design was born. Her goal is to offer the same great design she's been serving up for years along with unbiased product selection and a more hands on approach to each project she works on.
